Wordless Wednesday~What's In Your Purse?
Sasher's Life inspired me to dump my purse out just like she did. Here it is, the contents of my purse with a wee explanation.
So, I never used to carry a purse unless I had to. I just could never see the point in lugging a bunch of useless stuff everywhere I went, but sometimes I found myself with out a place to carry my wallet and other stuff. This year, somehow I decided that not only am I going to carry a purse all the time, but Im going to find the biggest one possible, so I too can walk around with a bag full of useless stuff. (The stuff actually is far from useless.)

My Wee Friend!
This is my little friend, Caleb. I call him "Weeman!" This little dude is so full of expression, like in this picture above. He looks like he has some big story to tell. He is also, hands down, one of the easiest babies on this planet to look after. His sister Josie (3 years) was the same way as a baby. I didn't know his other 2 sisters Emma-Leigh (7 years) and Hope (5 years) when they were babies, but I'm willing to bet they were pretty much the same. He is just a happy little guy. Content. Laughs alot. All you have to do is wiggle your fingers near him and he breaks into a giggly fit of laughter. He has just learned recently to blow kisses which is adorable from a face like that! Can you picture it? He even goes to sleep at night with ease. Just give him some warm milk and a little snuggle and he is out for the count!
The only thing with Weeman that is hard to do, is change his diaper and get him dressed! It took his big sister Emma and I, twenty minutes at least to get him changed and dressed!!
While Emma helped, I quickly grabbed my cell phone to take some pictures of the process.
You can tell just how fast he is rolling from the blur of the photos!
Time spent changing Weeman=20 minutes,

We had to pin him down to zip up the zipper for the final stage!!
It took us along time, 20 minutes, like I said above, but, we did it!! With much laughter involved, Weeman was changed and dressed and Emma and I were exhausted! It was like exercising to an entire 20 minute workout episode. Here is a picture of the final product! His cute little expression. He looks like he is saying, "What? What did I do?"
Time spent changing Weeman=20 minutes,
Calories lost Changing Weeman=about a million
Expression on Weeman's Face= Priceless!

My Heroic Gesture!
This is not an picture of the actual dog I am going to talk about..but it looks like her.
The other day I was walking to the High School to meet my son and sign him out to go to his dental appointment. On my way there, I saw a wee little Chihuahua roaming on the road with big cars driving by her. She was petrified. There is only one person on our street that has 2 of these cute, little yappers, so I scooped her up in my arms just before she ran out in front of an oncoming vehicle. I took her to her house and knocked on the door of the very grateful owner. This lady and I have had words in the past and for a split second I thought to myself, "Ha, it serves her right, loosing her dog!" But, right away I revoked that evil thought, and made sure I got the little dog to the safety of her home.

Wordless Wednesday!!
My sister-in-law, with 2 extremely wonderful people we met in Cuba last February. I have been thinking about them alot lately. Their names are Bill and Christine. I seriously wish I could remember their last name. I'd love to track them down and find out how Christine's health is. On our last day there, they told us that Christine has cancer and as soon as we landed in Toronto, she was to start chemo and radiation. I sincerely hope she pulled through. I would love to run into them again in Cuba! They go there all the time.

Don't Let the Techies at Apple Fool You!
My son got a virus on his laptop a few months ago. It was a pretty big one. The only way we could get rid of it was to wipe out the hard drive. I managed to save a bunch of his files for him BUT neither of us thought about saving his ITunes account. So, after I successfully cleaned up his laptop and loaded all the drivers and programs to make it run again, we realized that if he were to Sync his IPod it would completely wipe out all the stuff he had on his IPod and replace it only with the things on the newly installed ITunes. I phoned Apple to see if there was a way to reverse sync all the content of his IPod but there wasn't. You can do a reverse sync, but it only does it with things you have purchased through ITunes or the App store. How stupid is that. They are not the only source to get stuff to fill up the IPod with. This guy left me with little hope of saving the 860ish songs on his IPOD. His explanation was that it was programmed that way so they can prevent file sharing from happening. That is all fine and dandy, but they also screw you out of your legit purchases from sources other than ITunes.
Determined to find a solution, I turned to Google. I came across a Freeware that sounded like it would work and to our pleasure, it works. Its called Sharepod. It worked very quickly. He was able to save everything on his IPod to his computer and put it back into his ITunes account so when he Syncs it again, it will keep all the stuff he has!
So if you are ever in a similar situation, I highly recommend Sharepod! It seriously works!

How to Fold A Fitted Sheet
One of my high school friends was talking in her status on Facebook about her frustration with how to make her fitted sheets fit better in her closet. It sparked some dialogue between a bunch of people. I thought that I might make a video of how to do it since I learned how while working in the laundry room at Layolomi Beach Inn in Sundridge, Ontario when I was a teenager. Someone else had posted a link to a video with the very same content, so no need to for me to make one myself. (phew!) I thought it might be nice to share it here for people who read my blog. Enjoy, and happy folding!!

2 Thumbs Up!
I went to see Mission Impossible 4 today with my dad. My dad had to run into the bank before the movie started so I went ahead of him to go get our tickets. It was during the Matinee time. The movie was great! I really enjoyed it, but that is not my reason for writing about it today.
When I looked up the movie times for the Empire Theatre in New Liskeard, Ontario, I misunderstood the viewing times and thought that there was a 2:00 pm show. When I got there I discovered that it wasn't the case. The time for MI4 was at 7:30 pm. I expressed my distress to the guy at the ticket window in maybe not such a nice manner. I told him that the Website was misleading and it looks like MI4 was playing at the Matinee time. I whined a little about how we drove all the way down just to see the movie. "Blah, blah, blah!"
You know what the man behind the ticket window said after he let me have my say?
He said, "Well now, we cant have you going away from here all disappointed. I'm going to show the movie in Cinema 2 for the matinee."
I was utterly shocked! In all fairness, the way I acted and whined, I'm surprised he didn't wait for me to walk away and secretly flip me the bird. That was an extremely nice thing for him to do, especially when I didn't really deserve it!
So, my very enthusiastic "2 Thumbs Up!" goes to the really nice man (he may be the owner?) who was behind the ticket booth!! And if you happen to be going through the New Liskeard area and are looking for something to do, I highly recommend checking out the best small town theatre out there! The Emipire Theatre.

Mmmmm....... Dark Chocolate Chai Tea!
Right now, I'm enjoying a nice hot steamy cup of Dark Chocolate Chai Tea! Well, 5 cups to be more accurate! My mother had this really, really big mug in the cupboard, so I thought it might be silly-fun to drink from it! I actually didn't think it through before I decided to use it. I forgot how heavy it might become with 5 cups of water added to it, but oh well, I guess I will just have to enjoy it anyhow! Its not like that's a hard thing to do since its so yummy! Just in case when looking at the above picture you aren't convinced that it is really that big, I took another picture to prove it. Look below to see the comparison picture!

If You Could Be a Cartoon Character....
Who Would You Choose? And Why?
If I could be any cartoon character, I would choose to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I like her best because she was smart. Her nose was always in a book, just like mine. She loved to read. She loved to dream.
Just like me, she shows she likes to have fun. We witness the during the snowball fight she had with Beast. She’s very elegant yet comes from humble circumstances. She show her elegance when she put on the golden gown and dances with the Beast. She was not a real princess by birth, she was chosen. She was humble. She was not shallow, she showed it in her approach to the Beast. She was compassionate. She is a devoted daughter and was very brave when she risked everything for her father but then she went back to see Beast before he was to potentially dies. She was loyal and courageous and strong.
